National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation (NFGSC) filed a General NGA Section 4 rate case on July 31, 2023 with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), in Docket No. RP23-929-000, et al.  FERC suspended the rates filed in NFGSC’s case until February 1, 2024.  RG&E anticipates, as stated in NFGSC’s rate case transmittal letter, that NFGSC will file a separate motion to place the tariff sections, and therefore filed rates, into effect on February 1, 2024.  The NFGSC rate case increase is a direct passthrough to RG&E’s Empire Pipeline FSNN storage contract G12130.
